My Alfa 90 affair ended on a downer as the car started costing me too much money. It was a painful lesson in why you shouldn't buy worthless cars that need work but when it was going I enjoyed it. I'm running a W123 Coupe daily at the moment. Work wise I need to be getting on with my Mercedes 600 tomb and a Maserati book that I'm doing for Haynes which I should be delivering at the end of the month. Im on the trail of an Daimler Conquest roadster once owned by a very colourful tory MP and I've recently driven the ex Oliver Reed Panther DeVille: story coming up in C&SC.
